Gillian Britt, Principal
In the fall of 2002 she established gBritt PR where she manages PR strategy and media relations on behalf of the company's clients. She is also president of the board of the Maine Jewish Film Festival.
Debra Tenenbaum, Account Executive
Debra believes everyone has a story to tell. A story of where they came from, what they're doing here, and where they're going. The story of Debra's career begins at Boston College where she first became intrigued by the world of public relations. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Portland with her husband. Debra fell in love with the city's excellent restaurants, vibrant music and arts scene, and easy access to the outdoors. Before joining gBritt in 2007, Debra managed the public relations for a large community bank and then became the director of development and marketing for a $14 million nonprofit organization. In her free time, Debra does the usual (spends time with friends and family, eats at good restaurants, goes kayaking, hiking and snowshoeing) as well as the unusual (makes films for Maine's 48-Hour Film Project, writes post-modern fiction, and races in the National Toboggan Championships). She is also on the board of the Maine Public Relations Council and is editor of the MPRC newsletter.
Jim Britt, Principal
Jim also led foodservice marketing for Barber Foods, the Portland, Maine based frozen prepared poultry company. Jim holds a marketing (B.A.) degree from Youngstown State University. Jim, with the gBritt team, started Maine Restaurant Week in 2008. In addition to boosting sales at restaurants across the state, Maine Restaurant Week's kick-off party and Incredible Breakfast Cook-off have raised thousands of dollars for local non-profits. With Sean Ryan and Chef Jeff Landry, Jim founded Maine's chapter of the anti hunger organization Share Our Strength. Jim is a former board member at The Children's Museum and Theater of Maine and currently volunteers with Southern Maine Big Brothers Big Sisters.
